Mission: To allow summer collegiate teams to participate in a
very competitive league-like environment without the costs normally associated
with league play.
Teams both in and outside of leagues can participate.
Not in a league? HASS serves as a league framework giving you
structure, standings and a championship to go after...all without being in a
league.
In a league? HASS gives you the chance to win a season long tournament
using games you already have on your schedule. So you compete against teams both
in and outside of your league, thus giving you an additional and broadly competitive
title to shoot for.
The only requirement to join HASS is to play a series at the host site: All
Seasons RV Stadium in Marysville, California located 30 minutes north of
Sacramento.
And there is no obligation to stay in HASS from year to year.
HASS takes your schedule, whether you are in a league or not, and picks out
your most competitive games to include in the overall HASS Schedule.
HASS gives you:
- Daily online scores and standings readily available to your fans and
media.
- A complete online schedule of all HASS games throughout the season.
- Imbedded HASS scores/standings page on your website or a quick link to
HASS score/standings site.
- HASS logo for use on your printed materials and web site.
- Two Divisions. One with 40 games; the other with 24.
- Over the air radio broadcasts along with streaming internet of all games
at All Seasons RV Stadium.
- Televised Friday Night “Game of the Week” at All Seasons RV
Stadium. DVDs available to teams.
- Year end “HASS All-Series Honors” distributed to media nationwide.
- Championship Banners to division winners.
- HASS Commissioner to oversee scheduling, rules and general affairs in
order to maintain competitive balance and fairness in HASS, all done without
getting into your own team or league operation.
- Rawlings baseballs with the HASS logo available at cost.
When visiting All Seasons RV Stadium in Marysville you'll play in a continually upgraded minor league stadium.
The ballpark, set across the street from a lakefront park,
seats nearly 2,800 in a combination of theater-style stadium seats, benches with backs, and stadium bleachers.
The stadium has the look and feel of an old-time ballpark with its brickwork trim, sunken dugouts, and outfield wall adorned with billboards.
HASS games have drawn well with a number of near sellouts.
We project continual increases in attendance for the coming years.
The playing surface is groomed to professional baseball standards. Field lighting is on par with at least AA baseball levels.
Your clubhouse is professional style with individual open lockers,
carpeting, restrooms and showers.
HASS games at All Seasons RV Stadium are often scouted so players have a good
chance of being seen.
You'll play under professional baseball rules, with a slight modification for
safety, using wood or wood composite bats.
We promote the full minor league in-game experience with between-inning events and nightly promotions like souvenir giveaways, fireworks, and mascot appearances including The Famous San Diego Chicken.
The area's full-service daily newspaper, The Appeal-Democrat, covers our games extensively with all game and feature stories posted on their web site
(www.Appeal-Democrat.com) during the season.
All games, both home and away, are carried live on local radio, in addition to a televised game of the week.
All our radio broadcasts are also carried live on the Internet at www.KUBAradio.com. Broadcasts begin at
7:00pm Pacific Time.
You can expect to be interviewed often by the media that cover us.
There is no fee to play.
Teams requiring overnight stays will receive a travel
stipend.
All players must have their own health insurance coverage.
